To appeal a decision by SUSI to the Student Grants Appeals Board, simply click on the “Launch Appeal Form” button on this page to launch the electronic appeal form.
This process is facilitated by the use of a session cookie, so we recommend that the form should be filled in over course of one sitting. Otherwise information that you have entered but not submitted may be lost. You should further note the time provisions for submitting an appeal to the Board and ensure that you submit your appeal within the statutory time limits for doing so.
At any point while you are filling in the on-line form you may navigate backwards to review or change any fields you have previously completed, but you can only move forward once all mandatory fields (those marked with an asterisk *) have been completed. When you are navigating through the form, please use the “Continue” and “Back” buttons and NOT the browser controls. Once you have submitted the details of your appeal you may print a copy of your data or save it as an Adobe Acrobat Document.
N.B. - If your circumstances have changed since you were assessed for a grant, then you should not make an appeal to the Student Grants Appeals Board. You should seek to have your application reassessed. You’ll need to request SUSI to review the decision by emailing support@susi.ie and entering “Review Request” as the subject of the email and quoting your SUSI application number. Further details can be found on www.susi.ie.
PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE EXHAUSTED THE SUSI APPEALS PROCESS AND RECEIVED A DECISION FROM THE SUSI APPEALS OFFICER BEFORE APPEALING TO THE STUDENT GRANTS APPEALS BOARD (THIS SITE).
